First Counsel
Interim Management
First Counsel Consulting Limited is the leading provider of interim management resources to law firms and other professional service organisations.
Law firms turn to First Counsel when they need experienced leaders and managers to fulfil a strategic need for periods of between three and fifteen months. Our interim managers each have a proven track record of delivery in their discipline, be it HR, IT, risk management, procurement, business development, marketing or communications. Often, the need is for more specialist project/change management expertise and here too we provide the answer.
First Counsel interim managers have first-hand experience of law firm management and are generously endowed with that rarest of commodities: common sense. They are totally focused on getting the job done with the minimum of fuss, on achieving the results you want and on adding a lot of value, fast. Our aim is to put your business into even better shape and help you sustain your success.
Advisory Services
There are times when law firms need help of a different kind. Here again, our focus is on helping clients to get things done. There are four areas in which we work with clients in a hands-on advisory capacity. These are: strategy execution; organisational design and development; merger implementation and change management; and business development, marketing and brand strategy. We work closely with a select number of carefully chosen consultants to bring exactly the right know-how to each assignment.
